GE IS420UCSBS1A Module

The IS420UCSBS1A is a core processor module introduced by General Electric (GE) as part of the Mark VIe control system architecture.

As the “brain” of the DCS control system, it is specifically designed to meet the high-reliability control requirements of gas turbines, steam turbines, hydro turbines, as well as power plants and heavy industrial processes.

Hardware Configuration: Standalone control processor running a real-time operating system to execute application logic, control algorithms, and I/O communication scheduling.

Physical Characteristics: Encased in a rugged metal housing with a fanless cooling design (relying on airflow channels or conductive cooling), compatible with industrial-standard DIN rail mounting, and featuring extremely high vibration resistance and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
