BENDER IRDH275B-435
BENDER’s IRDH275B-435 is a high-performance A-ISOMETER® insulation monitor specifically designed for monitoring the insulation condition of ungrounded systems (IT systems).
Key Features
AMPPlus® patented measurement method: This core BENDER technology automatically adapts to complex inverters, rectifiers, and high ground leakage capacitance in modern power systems, ensuring measurement results remain accurate without false alarms from power electronic components.
Dual-Level Alarm Settings: Provides two independently adjustable alarm thresholds ($1 kΩ to $10 MΩ) for “Early Warning” and “Primary Alarm” respectively.
Automatic Adaptation: Automatically analyzes and adapts to system leakage capacitance, optimizing measurement time.
Real-Time Monitoring and Display: Displays insulation resistance values ($k\Omega$ or $M\Omega$) and system capacitance in real time via the LCD screen.
Self-Test Function: Continuously monitors the integrity of connections between the device itself, the system, and ground. Immediately triggers a system fault alarm upon detecting open circuits or short circuits.
Communication and Output:
RS-485 (BMS): Enables networking with other Bender devices or monitoring software.
Analog Output: Provides a 0(4)…20 mA signal corresponding to the measured insulation value.

Summary
The BENDER IRDH275B-435 is an **all-in-one insulation monitoring solution**. It handles traditional power frequency AC while excelling in modern industrial environments with harmonic distortion, DC offset, and high capacitive coupling.
Core Advantages: Precise measurement (not misled by frequency converters), comprehensive functionality (includes history logging and communication), high safety rating (self-diagnostic features).
Note: As an earlier classic model, it may be replaced by the newer ISO685 series in new projects. However, it remains crucial for maintenance of existing equipment and spare part replacement.
Application Scenarios
This product’s robust interference resistance makes it widely applicable in environments demanding extreme power continuity:
Large Industrial Facilities: Production lines with extensive variable frequency drives (VFDs) or rectifier units.
Maritime and Naval: Monitoring cable insulation in shipboard electrical systems to prevent power failures caused by single-point grounding.
Energy and Power: Photovoltaic systems, wind energy systems, UPS, and large battery banks.
Rail Transportation: Insulation maintenance for signaling systems or auxiliary power supply systems.
