FBM02 Product Introduction

The FBM02 is a universal analog input module manufactured by Foxboro (now a Schneider Electric brand) and is part of its I/A Series® distributed control system (DCS). It is primarily used in industrial automation systems to convert analog signals from the field (such as those from temperature, pressure, and flow transmitters) into digital signals for processing, monitoring, and control by the DCS.

Main Functions

As a front-end module for DCS systems, the FBM02’s core functions are signal acquisition and conversion:

Multi-channel analog input: It typically provides multiple channels (e.g., 8 or 16) of input interfaces, allowing simultaneous connection to multiple field devices.
